The  the Rev. Edward G. Fisher, M.D. is both an ordained minister and a Surgeon! He serves as pastor of the Full Gospel Church of the Lord's Missions International, Inc. in Washington, D.C. and is a solo practitioner.

Born in the beautiful country of Jamaica, Dr. Fisher emigrated to the U.S.A. at the age of 18 to attend college. He graduated from Brooklyn College and attended Howard University Medical School. He graduated with Honors and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has since served in many chairmanships and memberships in the medical community in the nation's capital.

Dr. Fisher, a brilliant professional, is quite active in the medical community and serves as Chaplain to the D.C. Medical Chirurgical Society and volunteers for many community activities in the medical and educational areas.

He co-authored a book with his wife, Human Sexuality - The Christian Perspective, and has just published his new book, Moses and the Burning Bush in January, 2006. It is available at the Book Store on this website.

He likes golf, loves football and enjoys all other sports. He is a good swimmer, excellent billiard player, plays a mean game of ping pong and can hold his own in bowling.

Last, but not least, he is a fantastic Dad and Granddaddy. A quiet, generous and peaceful soul, Dr. Fisher is loved by his family, patients and parishioners and is admired by all others.

His life shows his Christian walk with the Lord Jesus.  He is a wonderful, spirit-filled teacher and pastor.  Having suffered two major heart attacks and two subsequent heart surgeries, he is ever assured of the gift of life that the Lord has extended to him, and for that, he is thankful.
