Born in Washington, D. C., I grew up in the Barry Farms community

My dissertation was entitled "Church Missions at a

Economic Growth in Developing Countries ." That
dissertation is a living reality in the country of Haiti today and can be
seen on the MOM link and on www.haitipoverty.com.
I am a skilled lecturer and public speaker on contemporary
issues, especially in the area of health education (STD'S/AIDS) and Human Sexuality. I
have traveled internationally and nationally speaking to adults and youth on the subject

My business activities have been organized under Fisher
Associates, a conglomerate of activities that have included consulting, public speaking, managing a theological bookstore at a seminary, commercial embroidery,
digitizing, arts and crafts to music production! Fisher Associates
is a certified, minority business enterprise in the state of Maryland.
I am a member of the Board of
Directors of the Woodmore Community in Mitchellville, Maryland, and
presently serve as Vice President.
My hobbies are varied. I am a pianist and I play
electronic keyboards. I studied the violin with my kids when they were in the summer music
program with the D.C. Youth Orchestra in the 70's!. However, I found that I did not
have a propensity for the instrument.
I am a commercial embroiderer and digitizer for the
trade, a graphics designer, a fashion designer of ethnic clothing and accessories, a
seamstress, a maker of natural soaps and cosmetics, perfumes, a clock maker, and a host of
other arts and crafts activities.
Recently, I have started an antique bottle collection. I
rummage around old shops and flea markets in the Shenandoah Valley looking for pre-1900
and early 1900 bottles! I fell in love with collecting antique cast-iron cookware and am now restoring skillets, dutch ovens, etc! And,
finally I engaged in a goldsmith course and learned how to work with
metals. Now, I add handcrafted jewelry to my gift selections. About
98% of the materials used are recycled!
I successfully completed a web-design course at The Computer Trainer, a certified Microsoft Solutions facility.
So, I am able to manage and design my site, thanks to the patience and skill
of Andre Fraser of #1 Technologies who initially introduced me to Frontpage
and created the initial site. Without his help and that of Diallo Watts, I
would still be dependent upon others to maintain the site.
Be sure to visit my unique and unusual gift boutique. You will be able to see many of my handcrafted items and will be able to purchase
some of them on-line!
The Lord Jesus is the center of my life. As a
spirit-filled Christian, I live by faith and endeavor to walk in the foot steps of my
Savior. I give God the praise and glory for all that I have accomplished in my life. I am
sustained by his grace and mercy and His boundless love for me.
