After completing the Clean Water program, our technicians started their public education program in Anse-au-veau and nearby villages.  CAWST provided wonderful color graphics that were culturally appropriate.  The graphics are delightful and very educational.  Flip charts, posters, and playing cards were made withi the graphics to show how water is polluted, and how the community can help to prevent further water pollution.  The graphics are in Haitian Creole and depict Haitian culture.

We laminated the materials to protect them and to extend their life.  Forty sets were made and distributed to churches and primary schools.  The sets consisted of a teaching manual with graphics,  large posters for the walls and playing cards for games teaching water hygiene.

I made special t-shirts for each of the technicians.  They wore them with pride following their awards ceremony!  That's Steve Duperval addressing the community.

Now, several years later, these technicians are in need of updated information and techniques because of the improvement and changes made in the design and construction of the BioSand filters.

Please help us with your donation to make this possible so that we can provide clean drinking water.
