The Cook's Gallery Household Treasures The Recovery Zone is a fascinating page where old and discarded things come to life! Scouring antique shops, flea markets and thrift shops is a passion developed after many years of "treasure hunting" for fun. As I began to read and research interesting items, I discovered a whole new world of "treasures" from "trash". You will find cast iron collectibles such as cookware that is still top notch and that is preferred by international chefs the world over. Griswold, Favorite Piqua, Wagner, Lodge, and others can be found in this zone. The Replacements Place is a treasure trove of vintage, discontinued and hard-to-find dinnerware pieces by Corning Ware, Corelle, Pyrex, Fire King, Anchor Hocking and other glassware companies. Some of these companies have merged, gone out of business or changed their names. You can order one piece or a set if available of any pattern that is listed as in stock! The China Closet is a showplace of vintage glass and pottery collectibles for the collector or designer with flair. If you are looking for eclectic pieces from different eras, stop by and check out the China Closet. We might just have that special piece that you re looking for. There's Depression Glass, American Cut Glassware, Elegant Glassware and more. These dishes are meticulously prepared for you. Any visible defects will be highlighted in the text of the photo. Remember, these replacement dishes are sold in a "used" condition even though some may be new. Antique bottles, collectible bottles...all found in a million different places from "digs" to "under the counter" at road-side shops in the Shenandoah can be found here! Collectible tin canisters, wooden chests and artifacts are found here, too. There's even a M. L. Studtman Original birdhouse in my possession.
